Shipping Policy: Why We Do Not Ship Puppies

At Sweet Virginia Cavaliers, we believe that every puppy deserves a gentle, thoughtful transition into their forever home. For this reason, we do not offer shipping under any circumstances.

Shipping can be stressful and disorienting for young puppies, exposing them to unfamiliar environments, loud noises, temperature fluctuations, and extended periods of isolation. These conditions can compromise their emotional well-being and physical health—especially during such a sensitive developmental stage.

Instead, we invite families to meet us in person. This allows you to connect directly with your puppy, ask questions, and experience the loving environment in which they’ve been raised. It also gives us the opportunity to get to know you, ensuring that each placement is a safe, joyful match built on trust and transparency.

We understand that travel requires planning, and we’re happy to work with you to schedule a visit that fits your needs. Your puppy’s comfort and safety are our top priorities—and we believe that beginning your journey together face-to-face is the most respectful and responsible way to honor that commitment.
